Welcome to the Candle Cove Wiki!

"You have... to go... INSIDE!!"

Candle Cove was an American live-action children's series, that ran for two seasons in 1971. This show was locally produced in Ironton, Ohio, and was only broadcast in a local Ironton television station and some nearby cities. Although it mainly used puppetry, it had been seen to experiment in claymation, and on occasions, very deranged animation. It was well-known for its calliope music, which was actually played on a fairground organ.

This wiki is about the somewhat obscure TV show from the 70's. The show is a bit controversial, since many say that there was no show at all, and that the only thing on the TV screen during the airing was static.

The show is about a young girl and her pirate friends' adventures through a land called Candle Cove.

It is known to be a show that does not have much actual information left about it. Therefore, no one can be sure of the content of episodes as no documents remain about it. Most of it can be explained because of the special SEBTAW broadcasting system the show implemented, that did not allow the cameras of this time period to create screenshots.

Many stories have been published throughout the web about mysterious episodes, including one episode which many people have said to be the last episode made. The episode was said to have been a frequent pattern of the characters screaming continously and crying for the whole episode while it skips between different characters. However, it has been counted as mere folklore many times due to the episode lacking any plot behind it whatsoever.

After failed attempts of resurrecting the interest in the show (including an animated series project and an anniversary guide) The Candle Cove franchises returned in the late '80s with the publishing of three novels that serve as a possible prequel to the TV show, and a TV movie released SyFy Channel in 2012.
