Black Chin is a member of the Jolly Hounds crew, and a parody of Blackbeard the pirate.
Appearance[]
He has black chin stubble, earning him his name. He dresses similar to Blackbeard, wearing a black coat and tricorn hat.
His puppet is made out of wax, which is very unusual for the show. However, this could be a reference to the fact that Blackbeard kept burning rope under his hat, which would make this puppet a literal candle.
Notable Episodes[]
- In "Milo", the Jolly Hounds crew are attacked by the NPHC. Their captain, Milo, sails their ship to his brother Poppy's crew, the Laughingstock, in hopes that they will aid them. They are successful, and Milo decides to join the Laughingstock crew. The rest of the Jolly Hounds leave without him in their ship.
- In the SEBTAW episode "A Drastic Team Up", Black Chin is marooned on an island with the rest of the Jolly Hounds. They are found by Milo, who unbeknownst to his past crew, is aligning himself with the Skin-Taker. To prove his loyalty to the Skin-Taker, Milo kills the five stranded pirates and presents their skin to his new master.
